Established in 2016, Chengdu High-tech Medical Association is a 5A-level medical science and technology society. It consistently adheres to the overarching principle of "Strengthening Primary Care, Promoting Translation," follows the development guideline of "Rooted in High-tech Zone, Serving Sichuan and Chongqing, Radiating Nationwide, Embracing the World," and upholds the mission of "Gathering Medical Wisdom, Strengthening Healthcare, Fostering Integration and Innovation, Safeguarding Public Health." With the long-term vision of "Carrying Forward the Minshan Spirit, Building a First-class Society, Establishing a Hub for Medical-Engineering Integration, and Benefiting People's Health," the Association steadfastly pursues the development philosophy of "Party Building as Guidance, Democratic Governance, Academic Excellence as Foundation, Service Orientation, Talent-driven Development, and Technology-empowered Advancement." Its goal is to "become a regionally first-class, nationally renowned hub for collaborative innovation in medical technology and industry, continuously enhance comprehensive service capabilities in medical-engineering integration, set a benchmark for biomedical industry services in the Chengdu-Chongqing region, and build a one-stop comprehensive service platform for medical innovation and translation."
With "Party Building Strengthening the Association" at its core, the Association has meticulously crafted the distinctive Party building brand "Medical Pioneer of Scientific Innovation," achieving full coverage of Party organizations across its secondary academic branches. Through regional industry collaboration, the "Medical Pioneer of Scientific Innovation" initiative has established a regional center hub for social organization Party building services that integrates resource consolidation, service sharing, and collaborative innovation. Additionally, the Association operates the "Medical Original Aspiration Station" Party building official WeChat account, creating an integrated online-offline Party building platform and fostering a new pattern of "industry-wide coordination, resource sharing, and mutual advancement" in Party building work, thereby solidifying the ideological foundation for the Association's development.
The Association boasts a professional organizational structure, comprising 89 academic branches, 264 institutional members, and over 15,000 senior specialist members. Entrusted by government authorities, the Association has established over 30 medical quality control sub-centers with the support of medical experts from Sichuan Province and Chengdu City, conducting comprehensive and professional quality control management for healthcare institutions in the region, effectively enhancing the quality of regional medical services. The Secretariat consists of 10 functional departments staffed by over 70 full-time academic and technology service professionals, whose expertise and efficient service provide solid support for the Association's innovative development.
In the realms of academic and industrial services, the Association organizes over 100 medical academic conferences annually, providing platforms for knowledge exchange and intellectual dialogue in the medical field; hosts over 500 industrial service activities to support industry development; arranges over 200 appropriate technology promotion and organized continuing education practice activities; and conducts over 200 online WeChat classes, with nearly 1 million effective online and offline learning sessions, facilitating the widespread dissemination and application of medical knowledge.
The Association's Medical-Engineering Integration Collaborative Innovation Center is dedicated to advancing medical technology and service innovation. Over the past three years, it has assisted member institutions in successfully securing over 50 municipal-level medical research projects, obtaining approval for 4 municipal-level key medical specialties, and carrying out over 50 horizontal research projects. The Association has also collaborated with multiple medical schools and universities to establish a regional GCP Alliance, a regional Medical Ethics Committee, and University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Counseling Centers, continuously improving the medical-engineering integration ecosystem.
Looking to the future, the Association will continue to innovate its development models and mechanisms while expanding its service approaches and channels. Implementing the "Minshan Heritage Plan," with "Bai Ze's Quest and the Everlasting Torch" as its cultural mainstay, and driven by the grand vision of "Roc Spreading Its Wings" and the tenacious spirit of "Jingwei Filling the Sea," the Association is fully committed to building a one-stop comprehensive service platform for medical innovation and translation, continuously strengthening its comprehensive medical-engineering integration service capabilities, supporting the high-quality coordinated development of the healthcare industry and the health industry, and writing a new chapter of the "Minshan Heritage" for the cause of human health.
