In order to strengthen the study on the diagnosis and treatment of urolithiasis and lower urinary tract symptoms in medical institutions, focus on the academic frontier and treatment in the field of urology, and further explain the standardized treatment concept of urolithiasis. On December 18,2020, the communication session on the latest progress in the diagnosis and treatment of urolithiasis and lower urinary tract symptoms was held by the Chengdu Second People's Hospital and the Chengdu high-tech Medical Association, a total of more than 1000 relevant medical workers to attract online viewing.

Opening remarks were made by Director Wang Kunjie of the Hwaseo Sichuan University Hospital, Director Qiu Mingxing of the Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital, director Guo Zhiming of the Chengdu Second People's Hospital and deputy secretary-general ai he of the Chengdu high-tech Medical Association, professor Wang Qingtang, Professor Liao Banghua and Professor Tang Yin of Hwaseo Hospital in Sichuan University, professor Huang Chaoyou of Chengdu Second People's Hospital and Professor Li Qiang of Chengdu Third People's Hospital hold excellent lectures on such topics as flexible ureteroscope for treatment of Urinary Calculi, standardized treatment of extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy and new progress, application of percutaneous nephrolithotomy in urinary Calculi, guidelines for diagnosis and treatment of overactive bladder (2019) : from diagnosis to treatment, long-term management of Luts/oab -- A + B treatment strategy.

The purpose of this seminar is to sum up experience, exchange problems, and provide suggestions for further improvement of the diagnosis and treatment of urolithiasis. The smooth holding of the conference not only strengthened the professional exchange among clinicians, it has also played an active role in promoting the development of urology specialty.
