Caring for thyroid health, diagnosis and treatment of "secret" thyroid diseases

    In order to improve the level of standardized clinical diagnosis and treatment of thyroid diseases and strengthen academic exchanges, the Symposium on Laboratory and Clinical Dialogues sponsored by the Chengdu High-tech Medical Association-The Front and Backstage Academic Conference on Diagnosis and Treatment of "Secreted" Thyroid Diseases will be held on May 7, 2021 Successfully held online.

    The conference was opened by Professor Li Guixing from West China Hospital of Sichuan University, and built an exchange and learning platform for experts and colleagues in the form of academic lectures around the examination and clinical issues of thyroid diseases.

    Subsequently, Professor Wang Qin from West China Hospital of Sichuan University, Professor Ji Xiaoli from Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Professor Zhang Mei from West China Hospital of Sichuan University conducted "Clinical Diagnosis and Treatment of Thyrotoxicosis", "Regulation of Thyroid Function in Pregnancy", and "Thyroid Serum Markers". "Standardized Testing and Clinical Application" and other topics are taught.

    According to the topics and cases shared by the conference, professors Li Guixing, Wang Qin, Ji Xiaoli and Zhang Mei respectively started from their own perspectives and shared their experience in diagnosis and treatment based on the cases. Everyone analyzes the condition, checks the report, and discusses treatment methods on the spot. The speakers and panelists presented new ideas and new methods for the treatment of thyroid diseases from multiple perspectives and levels.

    The atmosphere of this academic exchange meeting was warm, and the participants were still unfulfilled. We conducted in-depth discussions on hot issues of thyroid disease, differentiation of benign and malignant thyroid nodules, imaging examinations, surgical interventions, and standardized postoperative management. Through discussions and exchanges, it is of great significance to improve the overall level of diagnosis and treatment of thyroid diseases.
