Entrusted by the education, culture and Health Bureau of Chengdu high tech Zone, the medical quality control management service center of Chengdu high tech Zone organized provincial and municipal review experts to conduct on-site expert review on the increase of category II pathogenic microorganism types and the qualification filing of experimental activities in the secondary biosafety laboratory applied by Sichuan Institute of drug inspection and research in the zone on the afternoon of December 10, 2021.

The medical quality control management service center of Chengdu high tech Zone has formulated the technical review work plan according to the requirements of the review of secondary biosafety laboratory, and invited Huang Wenfang, director of Sichuan clinical testing quality control center and Wang Hong, director of Chengdu Institute of biological products, to form an expert review team for on-site review and acceptance. Teacher Zhu Lingqian from the health department of education, culture and Health Bureau of Chengdu high tech Zone participated in the whole process of supervision, and the medical quality control management service center of Chengdu high tech Zone participated in the organization and coordination.

At the review site, the expert group conducted detailed review and acceptance on the zoning layout, personnel qualification, facilities and equipment, medical waste management, biosafety, system construction and other aspects of the institutional laboratory, gave valuable guidance, and put forward rectification requirements for the problems found in the review process. This review has played a guiding and helpful role in promoting the further standardized construction and management of the laboratory.
