The morbidity and mortality of gastrointestinal tumors are increasing year by year. In 2021, the rapid development of domestic immune checkpoint inhibitor drugs will bring more hope to patients with digestive tract tumors. Chengdu High-tech Medical Association successfully held a series of conferences on multidisciplinary comprehensive treatment of digestive tract tumors on December 25-26, 2021. The conference invited well-known experts in related fields to give lectures on gastrointestinal tumor immunotherapy and other related content, and to share the latest research progress.

The first academic conference was successfully held in Nanchong City on December 25th. The conference focused on the selection of immunosuppressive drugs and case sharing of related cases, creating a strong academic atmosphere for the participants. About 50 experts and scholars from inside and outside the province participated in the meeting.

The second academic conference was successfully held in Suining on December 26. The meeting invited more than 50 well-known experts and their teams in the field of esophageal cancer across the country.

The two series of academic conferences on multidisciplinary comprehensive treatment of digestive tract tumors have promoted exchanges between the oncology circles in the province. Through exchanges, they have integrated high-quality medical resources, built a bridge of communication, and laid a solid foundation for strengthening the construction of immunology in our province.
