In order to promote the rapid development of vascular surgery in hospitals at all levels in Sichuan Province and improve the diagnosis and treatment of vascular diseases in vascular surgery, general surgery and other related departments. At the same time, it provides a good academic exchange platform for clinical experts in relevant departments to share valuable experience and jointly promote the academic development of endovascular therapy. The first academic conference of Zigong Vascular Surgery Forum was held online+offline from November 4 to 5, 2022. The conference was co sponsored by Chengdu Hi tech Medical Association and the Fourth People's Hospital of Zigong City. A special speech was made around vascular related diseases, and four sections involving aortic, peripheral vascular, venous related diseases and VTE prevention and control were discussed. Professor Zhao Jichun from West China Hospital of Sichuan University, Professor Liu Yong from the Affiliated Hospital of Southwest Medical University, and Professor Wang Junwei from the Fourth People's Hospital of Zigong City were invited to the conference Nearly 40 experts, including Professor Zhao Yu from the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, attended the meeting for academic exchange.
