    In order to further promote academic exchanges, scientific research and clinical service capabilities of thyroid specialty in our province and some western regions, gather thyroid related professional physicians and technical talents, and improve the overall quality of thyroid specialty medical services in and outside the province. Co-sponsored by Chengdu Hi-tech Medical Association and West China Hospital of Sichuan University, the Establishment Conference and the first Annual Academic Meeting of the Thyroid Special Committee of Chengdu Hi-tech Medical Association was successfully held in the form of online conference from December 30 to 31, 2022.

Special committee inaugural meeting

  On December 30th, experts engaged in thyroid and parathyroid diagnosis and treatment from major hospitals in the province attended the establishment meeting of the thyroid special Committee of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association online. According to the Articles of Association of Chengdu Hi-tech Medical Association, the relevant provisions of the Academic organization Management Measures, the assembly through deliberation, democratic election of the Standing Committee, chairman, vice chairman and other new leadership. Zhu Jingqiang, Professor of West China Hospital of Sichuan University, was appointed as chief consultant. Professor Li Zhihui of West China Hospital of Sichuan University was appointed as the honorary chairman. Professor Feng Chao of Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital, Professor Li Chao of Sichuan Provincial Cancer Hospital, Professor Wang Zhaohui of Sichuan Provincial Cancer Hospital, Professor Wei Tao of West China Hospital of Sichuan University, Professor Wu Jian of Chengdu Third People's Hospital, Professor Yang Hongwei of Suining Central Hospital and Professor Zhao Xiaobo of Affiliated Hospital of North Sichuan Medical College were appointed as consultants. Professor Su Anping of West China Hospital of Sichuan University was elected as the chairman. Prof. Deng Xian from the Affiliated Hospital of Southwest Medical University, Prof. Hou Lingmi from the Affiliated Hospital of North Sichuan Medical College, Prof. Huang Junhua from the Fifth People's Hospital of Chengdu, Prof. Huang Yunhui from Suining Central Hospital, Prof. Ren Zhangxia from Guang 'an People's Hospital, Prof. Sheng Jianfeng from Mianyang Third People's Hospital, Prof. Wang Xiaofei from Sichuan University West China Hospital were elected as deputy chairmen (in order of surname first). Academic conference

    On December 31, the newly established thyroid Committee of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association held the first annual academic meeting.
