Introduction

In order to promote the construction and development of dermatology and cosmetology disciplines in our province and improve the clinical research level of dermatology and cosmetologists in the province, the "3rd High-tech Skin Summit Forum of Dermatology and Cosmetology Branch of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association" was successfully held on the network on July 29-30, 2022. Nearly 180,000 dermatology and aesthetic physicians from China, the United States and Japan participated online to participate in the academic event.

Committee

On July 29th, the Dermatology and Cosmetology Branch of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association was held first. At the meeting, Professor Ran Yuping, Chairman of the Dermatology and Cosmetology Branch and West China Hospital of Sichuan University, made a summary of the work of the branch in 2021-2022 and the next work plan. At the same time, in order to meet the development needs of the branch, after discussion between the branch and the secretariat of the society, the branch decided to add 1 vice chairman (Professor Zhang Xuejun of Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital) and 29 members this year.

Opening

At 8 a.m. sharp on July 30, the conference opened solemnly. The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Ran Yuping, Chairman of the Dermatology and Cosmetology Branch of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association, and invited special guests such as Academician Liao Wanqing of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Chen Lei, Vice President of West China Hospital of Sichuan University, Chen Tao, Vice President of Chengdu Second People's Hospital, and President Zhao Cong of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association.

As an important component of the national basic public health project, dermatology and cosmetology work is an important indicator to measure the comprehensive development of the country and society, and the implementation status of dermatology and cosmetology work and the skin health status of the whole people directly reflect the national health care level. Based on this, we gathered here to participate in the 3rd High-tech Skin Summit Forum, conduct extensive academic discussions and exchanges on emerging theories and cutting-edge technologies in dermatology and cosmetology from multiple perspectives, and share new ideas and new progress in the field of life science and clinical dermatology. I believe that pooling wisdom and efforts will definitely improve the understanding of all participating experts. I sincerely wish that this conference will be grandly convened and achieve fruitful results, and sincerely wish all experts and delegates to achieve something during the conference! New situation and new challenges in the special period, look forward to our offline meeting in the coming year.
