In order to promote the discipline construction and development of cardiology, cardiac function evaluation, and therapeutics in the southwest region, promote the widespread application of new technologies and telemedicine, improve the clinical research level of cardiology diagnosis, cardiac and vascular function evaluation, and diagnosis and treatment in the southwest region, and strengthen academic exchanges in related disciplines, on March 17-19, 2023, sponsored by the Sichuan Medical Association and Chengdu Hi-Tech Medical Association, the First People's Hospital of Chengdu "The Third People's Hospital of Chengdu and the Special Committee on Cardiology of Chengdu Hi-tech Medical Association jointly organized the" Cardiology Doctor Branch Conference of Sichuan Medical Association and the Second Southwest Cardiology Special Session "and" The Third Tianfu Cardiology Forum and Cardiology Imaging Assessment Technology Learning Class "jointly organized by the Cardiology Non invasive Technology Branch of Chongqing Medical Association, which were successfully held in Chengdu. The conference was held in a combination of online and offline methods, Famous domestic experts were invited to give lectures, and experts and colleagues from various geocentric functions throughout the country were invited to participate. Under the theme atmosphere of "integrity and innovation, working together towards the future", the grand event was held, with a total of about 200000 delegates participating.

      On the afternoon of the 17th, the general meeting of the Special Committee on Cardiology and the Youth Committee on Cardiology of the Chengdu Hi-Tech Medical Association was successfully held. Through deliberation and democratic election, the leading group of the Special Committee and the Youth Committee was elected. In order to effectively expand the professional team of cardiology and strive to improve the professional and technical level of the vast number of cardiology workers, today's grand meeting for cardiology workers in Southwest China is held here. I thank all participants for their efforts. This conference has 36 lecture topics, and in addition to the provincial experts invited, 21 well-known teaching experts and 13 commenting experts from all over the country have also been invited. The content covers multiple topics such as electrocardiology and cardiac ultrasound medicine. It is exciting and worth looking forward to. I believe that through this academic conference, it will definitely promote the professional level of cardiology in our province to a new level, add new momentum, and open a new chapter.
