According to the research, "The General Meeting of the Special Committee of Neurology and the 2023 Academic Annual Meeting" will be held in Chengdu on July 14-15, 2023. The conference was organized by Chengdu High-tech Medical Association and hosted by Sichuan University West China Hospital Shangjin Hospital. The conference invited experts in the field of neurology from Sichuan University West China Hospital, Sichuan People's Hospital, Sichuan University West China Hospital Shangjin Hospital, Chengdu Third People's Hospital and Chengdu First People's Hospital to give a special academic presentation, and discussed and exchanged classic cases and cutting-edge technologies of related specialties, attracting about 150 medical staff of neurology department to attend the conference.

On July 14, according to the relevant provisions of the Constitution of Chengdu Hi-tech Medical Association and the Academic Organization Management Measures of Chengdu Hi-tech Medical Association, we solemnly held the "Chengdu Hi-tech Medical Association's first Session of the Neurology Special Committee General Assembly", which passed the deliberation and democratically elected the second session of the Neurology Special Committee Standing Committee, chair-designate, deputy chair-designate and other leading groups. Professor Yan Bo, Shangjin Hospital, West China Hospital, Sichuan University, was elected as the chairman; Professor Yu Liang of Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital was elected as the chairperson-designate; Professor Xu Fei from Sichuan People's Hospital, Professor Zou Xiaoyi from West China Hospital of Sichuan University, Professor Yang Xuhong from the Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Professor Wu Xiaoping from Chengdu First People's Hospital, Professor Lu Zhiyu from Southwest Medical University and Professor Yu Juming from the Affiliated Hospital of North Sichuan Medical College were elected as deputy chairmen.

Professor Yan Bo, the new chairman of the committee, said that the second session of the Neurology Committee will continue to build on the past and continue to promote the standardized and scientific development of neurology diagnosis and treatment in the region. In the future, more clinical experience will be promoted to more primary hospitals to help improve the quality of diagnosis and treatment in primary hospitals and serve more patients.
