With the wide application of central venous catheter, the prevention and control of catheter-related thrombus is particularly important. Sponsored by Chengdu High-tech Medical Association, Chengdu High-tech Medical Association tumor Interventional minimally invasive Committee, Chengdu High-tech Zone Oncology disease quality control branch center, tumor intravenous therapy nursing group, "Central venous catheter safety Management training Course" was successfully held online on August 20, aimed at improving the level of central venous catheter safety management for medical staff in primary medical institutions. Nearly 400 people attended the event online.
This conference invited experts and scholars from the field of nursing from West China Hospital of Sichuan University and Chengdu First People's Hospital to give a keynote speech on the safety management of central venous catheters. Based on the theoretical framework, through comprehensive and multi-angle learning, we closely follow the facts and base on the current situation. Such as venous infusion catheter flushing and sealing standards, the prevention and control of blood infection related to vascular catheters, the standardized maintenance process of central catheters and the safe fixation of common clinical catheters are very worthy of the majority of relevant medical professionals to learn.
Through this training, the nursing staff are fully aware of the importance of safe infusion, and have a new understanding of the maintenance of indentures, catheter materials, etc., which effectively promotes the program, standardization and specialization of intravenous infusion nursing work in grassroots medical institutions in the area. It is hoped that every participant engaged in minimally invasive tumor intervention, oncologic disease, and tumor intravenous therapy care can learn to absorb the new knowledge shared by authoritative experts in the industry, combine the characteristics and actual conditions of medical institutions, continue to deepen the knowledge content, flexibly apply it to practical work, and improve the safety management level of central venous catheter of medical staff in primary medical institutions.
