In order to further improve the diagnosis and treatment level of rare diseases in the region and strengthen the understanding of rare diseases among doctors at all levels, the Chengdu High tech Medical Association held the National Continuing Education Project China Science and Technology City Rare Disease Forum and the 2023 Rheumatology and Immunology Special Committee Academic Annual Meeting in Mianyang from June 2 to 3, 2023. This meeting invited experts from rare diseases, rheumatism, and related fields at home and abroad to give lectures, and discussed and exchanged ideas around classic cases and cutting-edge technologies in related fields. Professor Zeng Xiaofeng, Zhao Yan, and Zhang Wen from Beijing Union Medical College Hospital, Professor Zhang Xuan from Beijing Hospital of the Ministry of Health, Professor Su Yin from Peking University People's Hospital, Professor Zhang Zhuoli from Peking University First Hospital, Professor Chu Chengqiu from Oregon University of Health and Science, Professor Lv Liwei from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Professor Jiang Lindi from Zhongshan Hospital affiliated with Fudan University, Professor He Lan from Xi'an Jiaotong University First Affiliated Hospital, and Professor Wang Yong from Chongqing Southwest Hospital, Professor Xu Jian from the First Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University, Professor Li Xiaomei from Anhui Medical University, and other experts attended the conference and gave lectures and participated in discussions on-site or online.
