In order to earnestly implement the spirit of the national and Sichuan Provincial Action Plan for Comprehensively Improving Medical Quality (2023-2025), we will follow the requirements of the Notice of Chengdu Municipal Health Commission on Printing and distributing the Supervision Plan for the Implementation of the Action for Comprehensively Improving Medical Quality in Chengdu. Entrusted by the Health Bureau of Chengdu High-tech Zone, the Medical Quality Control Management Service Center of High-tech Zone conducted on-site supervision on the implementation of comprehensive improvement of medical quality actions in 12 medical institutions above grade II in the district (including Municipal registered medical institutions) from March 19-20, 2024.

The supervision work invited experts from six aspects, such as medical management, medical quality control, hospital sense, pharmaceutical affairs, inspection and nursing, to form three expert groups to carry out special supervision work.

The expert group conducted in-depth supervision and inspection on the construction of the medical quality and safety management system, the implementation of the core medical system, the operation safety management, the promotion of special actions on patient safety, the connotation quality of medical records, the nursing quality management, the prevention and control of hospital infection, and rational drug use in various hospitals through on-site verification, data retrieval, medical record tracking, and personnel interviews. The problems and deficiencies in the work were feedbacks, and the rationalization suggestions and rectification suggestions were put forward.

Through the on-site supervision of the implementation of the comprehensive improvement of medical quality action, we effectively understood the implementation of the "comprehensive improvement of medical quality action" work by 12 secondary and above medical institutions in the district (including medical institutions registered by the Municipal Committee), so as to promote the high-quality development of health undertakings in the high-tech zone, improve the development level of medical safety and quality, and protect the health rights and interests of the people.
