In order to promote the discipline construction in the field of obstetrics and gynecology in the region, standardize the diagnosis and treatment behavior, promote academic research and exchange, and promote the coordinated development of obstetrics and gynecology related majors. From March 29 to March 30, 2024, sponsored by Chengdu High-tech Medical Association and co-sponsored by Chengdu High-tech Medical Association Industrial Science Special Committee and West China Second Hospital of Sichuan University, the "Establishment Conference of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association Industrial Science Special Committee and the first academic Conference" was successfully held in the form of online and offline joint organization in Chengdu, Sichuan. More than 90 experts and scholars from inside and outside the province gathered in Chengdu to go to the grand event.

On the evening of March 29, the establishment meeting of the Industrial Science Special Committee of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association was held as scheduled, and Professor Gong Yunhui, the leader of the preparatory group of the special committee, reported the preparation of the special committee to the conference. According to the relevant provisions of the Constitution of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association and the Measures for the Management of Academic Organizations, the General Assembly passed deliberation and democratically elected the standing Committee members, Chairman, chair-designate and deputy chairman of the special Committee. Professor Zhou Rong of West China Second Hospital of Sichuan University served as honorary chairman of the special committee; Professor Gong Yunhui of West China Second Hospital of Sichuan University was elected chairman of the Special Committee; Professor Gao Yan of Sichuan Maternal and Child Health Hospital was elected as the chairman-designate of the special committee; Prof. Yu Wenliang from Mianyang Central Hospital, Prof. Wang Xue from Sichuan Maternal and Child Health Hospital, Prof. He Lei from Sichuan University West China Second Hospital, Prof. Wu Hai from Leshan Maternal and Child Health Hospital, Prof. Hou Yan from Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital, and Prof. Xu Zhou from Sichuan Jinxin Xilian Women and Children's Hospital were elected as deputy directors (in order of surname strokes).

At the meeting, the functional party group of the professional Committee of Industrial science was established. Among the 53 Party members of the professional committee, after recommendation and discussion, the special Committee unanimously agreed to form the functional Party group of the Professional Committee by Comrade Gong Yunhui, Comrade Xu Zhou and Comrade He Lei. Among them, Comrade Gong Yunhui served as the party's working group leader, Comrade Xu Zhou was responsible for discipline inspection and organization work, Comrade He Lei was responsible for publicity work. The establishment of the functional party group will give full play to its functionality, supervision and innovation in the future to ensure the healthy development of the professional committee.
