Gastrointestinal cancer is one of the most frequently occurring tumors in China. The incidence rate of colorectal cancer ranks second in China's incidence rate, accounting for nearly 50% of the global incidence rate of colorectal cancer. The mortality rate is still high, accounting for half of the global mortality rate of colorectal cancer. The diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer is complex, and it is urgent to standardize diagnosis and treatment in order to improve the survival status of colorectal cancer patients and promote the achievement of the "Healthy China 2030" goal.

In order to promote the standardized diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer and strengthen academic exchanges among regional digestive tract oncologists, the Chengdu High tech Medical Association successfully held the "2024" Breakthrough of Colon Scale "Colorectal Cancer Difficult Cases Diagnosis and Treatment Conference" on March 28, 2024. This conference invited national digestive tract oncology experts to share and discuss the standardized treatment of digestive tract tumors. More than 100 people participated in the online conference.
