In order to strengthen the standardized diagnosis and treatment level of tumors, improve the quality of life of tumor patients, and ensure medical quality and safety, the first round of awarding ceremony and the second batch of establishment kickoff meeting for standardized diagnosis and treatment of cancer pain in Chengdu High tech Zone, sponsored by the Chengdu High tech Zone Medical Quality Control Management Service Center, and undertaken by the Chengdu High tech Zone Cancer Quality Control Sub center and the Chengdu Guixi Community Health Service Center, was successfully held on the morning of April 26, 2024 at the Guixi Community Health Service Center in Chengdu High tech Zone.
The conference first held a plaque awarding ceremony for the first batch of cancer pain demonstration bases in the High tech Zone. Wu Bosheng, Deputy Director of the Health Department of the Health Bureau of Chengdu High tech Zone, and Duan Ping, Director of the Cancer Quality Control Sub center of the High tech Zone, awarded the first batch of cancer pain demonstration bases to the three units that have successfully applied for acceptance: Chengdu Shangjinnan Hospital, Chengdu High tech Zone Cooperative Community Health Service Center, and Chengdu High tech Zone Heisen Hospital, marking significant achievements in the standardized diagnosis and treatment of cancer pain.
Subsequently, Director Duan Ping, the host, introduced the background and significance of the event to the attendees. Wu Bosheng, Deputy Director of the Health Department of the Health Bureau of Chengdu High tech Zone, Ai He, Deputy Director of the Medical Quality Control Management Service Center of Chengdu High tech Zone, and Luo Jun, Deputy Director of Chengdu Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. They warmly congratulated the event and put forward earnest expectations for standardized diagnosis and treatment of cancer pain.
The launch ceremony of the second batch of standardized diagnosis and treatment demonstration units for cancer pain in Chengdu High tech Zone was witnessed by more than 50 people, including the Guixi Community Health Service Center in Chengdu High tech Zone, Fangcao Community Health Service Center in Chengdu High tech Zone, Sichuan Modern Hospital, and leaders in charge of relevant functional departments from various medical institutions in the region, who applied for the demonstration base and passed expert evaluation.
After the launch ceremony, the specialized training session on standardized diagnosis and treatment of cancer pain in primary medical institutions immediately began. Professor Yao Wenxiu from Sichuan Cancer Disease Quality Control Center and Professor Peng Xiaodong from Chengdu Cancer Disease Quality Control Center delivered speeches at the training class and provided in-depth interpretation and detailed guidance on standardized diagnosis and treatment of cancer pain.
This training also invited several industry leaders, including Professor Luo Jun, Vice President of Chengdu Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital, Professor Liu Mengjie, Deputy Director of Nursing Department of Chengdu Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital, Professor Jia Yuming, Director of Oncology Department of Yibin Second People's Hospital, Professor Zhang Ying, Director of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Department of Shangjin Hospital of West China Hospital, Professor Luo Lin, Director of Pharmacy Department of Chengdu Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital, and Professor Duan Ping, Director of Oncology Department of Chengdu Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital.
