Digestive tract tumor is one of the most frequent tumors in China. The incidence of colorectal cancer is the second in China, the incidence of gastric cancer is the fourth in China, and the incidence of esophageal cancer is the sixth in China. The overall incidence accounts for nearly 50% of digestive tumors in the world. The mortality rate is even higher, accounting for half of digestive cancer deaths worldwide. With the emergence of more drugs, the treatment of digestive tract tumors has entered a new era, and more and more patients with digestive tract tumors can survive longer.

In order to promote the standardized diagnosis and treatment of digestive tract tumors and strengthen academic exchanges of digestive tract tumors, Chengdu High-tech Medical Association successfully held the online "Intestinal food and Gastric Standard Treatment Forum" on March 20, 2024, inviting digestive tract tumor experts from all over the country to share and discuss the standardized treatment of digestive tract tumors.
