In order to deepen the targeted support activities for rural revitalization and improve the health level of remote villages, the Chengdu High tech Medical Association organized medical institutions (including member units), academic branches, and caring enterprises to go to Dege County, Garze Prefecture, Sichuan Province from July 10 to 13, 2024 to carry out the "Empowering Rural Revitalization and Caring for Remote Villages" activity. This "Rural Revitalization" activity is hosted by the Health Bureau of Chengdu High tech Zone and organized by the Chengdu High tech Medical Association. The event has been organized once a year since 2017 and is currently the eighth "Rural Revitalization" targeted support activity.
This event invited a group of 20 experts and professors from various medical institutions (including member units), academic branches, and caring enterprises to go to Dege County in Ganzi Prefecture for targeted assistance. They carried out various forms of "rural revitalization" activities such as clinical specialty matching support and co construction, medical material donation, and expert free clinics, effectively promoting the normalization and precision of "rural revitalization" services, reflecting the great love spirit of the association and experts to "empower rural revitalization and care for remote villages".
1.Donate medical supplies and show love to grassroots communities
After the "Rural Revitalization" team arrived in Dege County, Garze Prefecture, they carried out a public welfare donation activity of medical supplies for "Rural Revitalization" at the Dege County Health Bureau. Attending the ceremony were Xiang Yi, member of the Standing Committee of Dege County Committee in Garze Prefecture, Qi Qiulin, Director of Dege County Health Bureau, Yue Qi, Secretary of the Party Committee and Dean of Dege County People's Hospital, Zhou Chao, Ai He, Vice President and Deputy Secretary General of Chengdu High tech Medical Association, Long Guiying, Minister of Government Affairs of Chengdu High tech Medical Association, as well as the Medical Aesthetics Committee, Sleep Committee, Chengdu First People's Hospital, Chengdu Third People's Hospital, Sichuan Modern Hospital (High tech Campus), Chengdu BOE Hospital, Chengdu Xinlimei Medical Beauty Hospital, Chengdu Shengda Yixin Medical Technology Co., Ltd., Chengdu Medical Core Huayuan Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Sichuan Shengshi Hongzhou Medical Equipment Co., Ltd., Sichuan Fujisheng A total of 20 representatives from hospitals and caring enterprises such as Hong Medical Technology Co., Ltd. and Shandong Xinhua Health Technology Co., Ltd.
2. Immersive targeted assistance, "blood transfusion" and "hematopoiesis"
The health system of Chengdu High tech Zone adopts a "one-on-one" pairing and "hands-on" immersive assistance approach. For eight consecutive years, it has established one-on-one assistance pairs with multiple health centers and related clinical departments in Dege County, Ganzi Prefecture, to support the construction of specialized departments. On July 11th and 12th, a special meeting on clinical specialty pairing assistance was held at the Maisu Town Central Health Center and Manigango Town Central Health Center in Dege County. The meeting focused on discussing targeted support work and fully utilizing the advantages of expert disciplines to help Maisu Town Central Health Center and Manigango Town Central Health Center improve their disease treatment capabilities. This immersive "group style" assistance has transformed the two hospitals from "blood transfusion" to "blood production", promoting the high-quality development of local grassroots health.
3. Experts empower grassroots and care about the people in remote areas
The Chengdu High tech Medical Association also provides targeted assistance to the Maisu Town area in Dege County, and conducts targeted free clinics in high-altitude Tibetan areas. A team of experts from internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, otolaryngology, dermatology, rehabilitation, ultrasound, and hospital infection were organized to provide free consultations for the residents of Maisu Town, Dege County. On site reception of 15 gynecological patients, 50 traditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation patients, 40 B-ultrasound patients, 28 otolaryngologists, 10 surgeons, 1 debridement and suturing surgery patient, with a total of 144 diagnosis and treatment visits. Received unanimous praise from the local people.
On this basis, Chengdu High tech Medical Association has joined hands with relevant units to proactively layout and assist Dege County People's Hospital in establishing a clinical medicine simulation training center. This center is about to become a lighthouse for medical advancement and a cradle for skill training. It is expected to shine like a pearl in the local medical field, promoting the vigorous development of simulation education. It will simulate actual combat, integrate theory and practice, assist doctors in making leaps in their skills, and light up the light of hope for patients on the road to rehabilitation.
Not only that, medical experts not only conducted basic physical examinations on the public, but also conducted clinical observation and research on local patients with facial capillary hyperplasia (high altitude red).
The four-day "Gathering Strength to Empower Rural Revitalization and Caring for Remote Villages" activity is not only a targeted assistance activity, but also a party building activity organized by the two new organizations of the Chengdu High tech Zone's health system. This activity consolidated and expanded the achievements of the "I do practical things for the masses" practical activity. The Party branch of Chengdu High tech Medical Association effectively fulfilled its social responsibility through targeted assistance, and helped the rural revitalization work in Dege County. Through continuous specialized joint construction, the medical and health level of Dege County has been significantly improved year by year, better serving the general public, further enhancing the self-care awareness of the agricultural and pastoral areas in Dege County, Ganzi Prefecture, and cultivating a scientific, civilized, and healthy lifestyle. Next, Chengdu High tech Medical Association will focus on the practical needs of farmers and herdsmen in ethnic areas, and through good services, do a good job in grassroots health work. Taking the "Rural Revitalization" activity as an opportunity, we will fully leverage the professional advantages of our team, expert advantages, and platform advantages, bravely shoulder the responsibility of health in ethnic areas, and assist in the implementation of the Healthy Sichuan and Rural Revitalization Strategy.
