 Because of its unique advantages of home treatment, peritoneal dialysis has been accepted by more and more doctors and patients. With the continuous development of the Internet, the forms of medical academic communication are becoming more and more flexible and diversified, breaking through the obstacles of time and space. In order to let patients better understand their own condition and treatment plan, master the skills and precautions of peritoneal dialysis, improve self-care ability and quality of life, enhance the sense of belonging and self-confidence of patients, so as to better face the treatment and rehabilitation process of kidney disease. The Abdominal Dialysis Summer Kidney Friends Meeting of the Affiliated Hospital of Southwest Medical University, co-sponsored by Chengdu Hi-tech Medical Association and the Department of Nephrology of the Affiliated Hospital of Southwest Medical University, was successfully held on July 3, 2024.
