Gastrointestinal cancer is one of the most frequently occurring tumors in China. The incidence rate of colorectal cancer ranks second in China's incidence rate, accounting for nearly 50% of the global incidence rate of colorectal cancer. The mortality rate is still high, accounting for half of the global mortality rate of colorectal cancer. The diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer are complex, and standardized diagnosis and treatment are urgently needed to improve the survival status of colorectal cancer patients and promote the achievement of the "Healthy China 2030" goal.

In order to promote standardized diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer and strengthen academic exchanges among digestive oncology scholars between regions, the Chengdu High tech Medical Association successfully held the "2024 Breakthrough in Intestinal Regulation" Colorectal Cancer Difficult Case Diagnosis and Treatment Conference online on June 3, 2024. The conference invited national digestive oncology experts to share and discuss standardized treatment of digestive tumors. More than 100 people attended the online conference.
