In order to further promote the development of cardiology in Southwest China, strengthen academic exchanges among peers, and with the aim of “facing the grassroots and serving the clinic”, we aim to improve the level of medical technology and service quality of cardiologists and general practitioners. After research, Chengdu Hi-Tech Medical Association will hold a series of meetings on long-term management of chronic disease risk factors on August 17, 2024 (the second phase). The meeting will invite excellent cardiologists and general practitioners in the region to give lectures, exchange diagnostic and treatment experiences, and introduce new technologies and therapies for the treatment of coronary heart disease, lipid management, blood pressure management, and other related cardiology diseases, in order to jointly improve the level of clinical services. Medical personnel of cardiology, general medicine and related specialties from general hospitals and other medical institutions in various districts (cities) of Southwest provinces attended the conference.
