This conference aims to promote the exchange and dissemination of new ideas, new technologies and new materials in the field of chest wall surgery by building a high-level academic exchange platform. The conference brought together well-known experts and scholars in the field of chest wall surgery in China to discuss and share the latest research results, diagnosis and treatment experience and future development direction in this field. Including but not limited to the selection of sternal tumor resection and reconstruction materials, the new perspective of sternoclavicular joint function in chest wall reconstruction surgery, the application of thoracic fenestration technology in special cases, and the difficult problems in chest wall orthopaedic surgery, brought a wonderful academic feast to the participants, and the participants benefited a lot.

At the meeting, the experts not only shared their research results and clinical experience, but also looked forward to and discussed the future development direction of chest wall surgery. They emphasized that with the continuous progress of medical technology and the increasingly diverse needs of patients, chest wall surgeons need to continue to broaden their horizons, strengthen interdisciplinary cooperation, and solve the pain of patients with more accurate, safe and effective treatment, while paying attention to the mental health of patients to achieve comprehensive rehabilitation.
