According to the "National Infertility Report", the incidence of infertility in China has risen from 3% to 15% the past 20 years. Nearly 48 million infertile couples are eager to have their own children, and the development of assisted reproductive technology has them with the opportunity to do so. Women who conceive through assisted reproduction have a significantly higher risk of premature birth and various pregnancy complications than those who conceive naturally, pre-pregnancy, pregnancy, and perinatal management for assisted reproduction is particularly important. Meanwhile, as the proportion of high-risk and older pregnant women continues increase, birth defects remain a major public health issue related to the quality of the birth population. In order to further ensure maternal and child safety, prevent and control defects, and improve the detection rate of fetal malformations during pregnancy, prenatal diagnosis technology is particularly important. The "Sichuan Continuing Medical Education Project 'ized Management of Perinatal Period in Assisted Reproductive Pregnancy and Hotspots in Prenatal Diagnosis' Training Class", jointly organized by SichuanXin XiNan Women and Children's Hospital and Chengdu High-tech Medical Association, was successfully held online and offline on September 20-21 2024.
