In order to further improve the clinical diagnosis and treatment level of minimally invasive tumor intervention, strengthen the standardized diagnosis and treatment management of minimally invasive tumor intervention, promote the construction and development of tumor intervention and minimally invasive treatment disciplines, and benefit more tumor patients. Co-sponsored by Chengdu High-tech Medical Association and West China Hospital of Sichuan University, and hosted by the Professional Committee of Minimally Invasive Tumor Intervention of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association, the "The first Election of the Committee of Micro-invasive Tumor Intervention of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association and the 2024 academic Conference" was successfully held in Chengdu on November 2-3, 2024.

The first Tumor Minimally invasive Intervention Committee of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association was established in 2021; Now the term has expired, according to the relevant provisions of the "Chengdu High-tech Medical Association Academic Organization Management Measures", a new election. First of all, Professor Duan Ping, Chairman of the first session, made a term work report, summarizing a series of work carried out by the special committee in the past three years, which was unanimously recognized by all members. Director Liao Zhengyin made a report on the preparatory work for the general election.

Next, the meeting democratically elected the chairmandesignate, deputy chairmandesignate and standing Committee of the second session of the Tumor Minimally invasive Intervention Committee. Professor Xiao Yueyong of PLA General Hospital and Professor Luo Xiaoping of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University served as honorary chairman of the special Committee. Prof. Liao Zhengyin of West China Hospital of Sichuan University, Prof. Chen Zhiming of the First People's Hospital of Yunnan Province, Prof. Ao Rui of Sichuan People's Hospital, Prof. Luo Yun of West China Hospital of Sichuan University/West China Shangjin Hospital, Prof. Zhang Yan of the Affiliated Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Southwest Medical University, Prof. Zhang Zhengwei of Chengdu Fifth People's Hospital, Prof. Jia Yuming of Yibin Second People's Hospital, Professor Li Yi from Chongqing Hospital, the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine; Professor Li Jiangtao from West China Airport Hospital of Sichuan University; Professor Zhang Junxi from Zigong High-tech Cancer Hospital; Professor Cao Lei from Qingbaijiang District People's Hospital of Chengdu were elected as deputy directors of the Special Committee.

Chairman Liao Zhengyin's speech: The special Committee will unswervingly take Party building as the leading core, and will make every effort to implement and complete the nine core missions delivered by the society in detail under the leadership of the society, and ensure that each task is completed with high standards.

The meeting read out the reply to the approval of the functional Party group of the second session of the Tumor Minimally invasive Intervention Special Committee of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association, in the 58 party members of the special committee, after recommendation and discussion, the society agreed to the Chengdu Seventh People's Hospital Li Zhengguang, Sichuan University West China Airport Hospital teacher Li Jiangtao, Chengdu Third People's Hospital Zheng Liangjian three comrades as members of the party's working group. Among them, Comrade Li Zhengguang serves as the party's working group leader, Comrade Li Jiangtao is responsible for discipline inspection and organization work, Comrade Zheng Liangjian is responsible for publicity work. At the meeting, Comrade Li Zhengguang led all members to study the party class.

Finally, Ai He, vice president and deputy Secretary-General of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association, expressed his gratitude to the experts of the special committee, and hoped that the experts could borrow the platform built by the society, give full play to the leading role of the experts, do more practical things, and contribute their own strength to the healthy development of the minimally invasive tumor intervention industry. The society will also actively serve the experts.

The academic exchange kicked off in the "History of Intervention in China", which was vividly explained by Professor Zhang Jinshan. Experts from inside and outside the province shared new knowledge and new technologies in the field of cancer diagnosis and treatment, and presented the latest research results in the multidisciplinary diagnosis and treatment of cancer.

The successful holding of this academic conference will output more new ideas, new technologies and more standardized operation and theoretical knowledge for medical staff, and maintain the high-quality and standardized development of tumor diagnosis and treatment. Chengdu Hi-tech Medical Association will continue to build a platform for more medical workers to learn, innovate and research, and inject new impetus and vitality into the innovative development of the industry.
