In order to explore new hospice service models to better provide comprehensive care and care for terminally ill patients, Sponsored by Chengdu Hi-tech Medical Association and Chengdu Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, the "Establishment Meeting of Chengdu Hi-tech Medical Association Hospice Care Special Committee and Provincial continuing Education Project Training Course on the Application of TCM Appropriate Technology in Hospice Care" was successfully held in Chengdu on November 14-15, 2024.

On November 15, 2024, the founding meeting of the hospice Special Committee of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association was held. Through deliberation, the General Assembly democratically elected the Chairman, chairman-designate, vice-chairmen and standing members of the special Committee. Professor Liu Mengjie of Chengdu Hospital of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine was elected as the chairman of the committee, and Professor Zheng Rujun of West China Hospital of Sichuan University was elected as the chairman-designate. Prof. Liang Xuemei from the Affiliated Hospital of Southwest Medical University, Prof. Jia Yancantina from the Fourth Hospital of West China, Sichuan University, Prof. Shi Hui from the Seventh People's Hospital of Chengdu, Prof. Zhang Limei from Chengdu Medical College, Prof. Gao Qian from the Affiliated Hospital of North Sichuan Medical College, Prof. He Haiyan from the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, Prof. Tao Liande from the Second People's Hospital of Yibin, Prof. Li Qiao from Deyang People's Hospital, Chengdu Traditional Chinese Medicine Prof. Li Lei from Deyang Hospital, Affiliated Hospital of Pharmaceutical University, Prof. Yang Li from Chengdu Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine and Prof. Hu Limin from Chengdu Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine were elected as deputy directors.

At the meeting, the reply to the approval of the functional Party group of the Hospice Special Committee was read out. Among the 55 Party members of the special Committee, the recommendation and discussion Society agreed to the formation of the functional Party group of the Special Committee by Tao Liande, Zheng Rujun and Li Qiao, of which Tao Liande was the leader of the working group, Zheng Rujun was responsible for the discipline inspection and organization work, and Li Qiao was responsible for the publicity work. At the meeting, Comrade Yang Li led all members to study the Party class.
