Drug induced liver injury faces significant challenges in timely identification, establishment of diagnosis, prognosis prediction, clinical management, and risk prevention due to the complexity of drug types, population heterogeneity, injury mechanisms, risk factors, clinical phenotypes, as well as the lack of specific diagnostic biomarkers and effective intervention measures. In this context, in order to meet the challenges and improve the diagnosis and treatment level of doctors in the province, the fourth academic seminar series on drug-induced liver injury hosted by Chengdu High tech Medical Association was successfully held online on October 30, 2024. The attending representatives expressed that they have benefited greatly and hope to participate in more such conferences in the future.
