In order to further consolidate the region's public medical institutions of drugs and medical supplies procurement special governance work, improve the level of rational use of drugs, entrusted by the Chengdu High-tech Zone Health Bureau, The Medical Quality Control Management Service Center of the High New Area organized provincial and municipal experts to conduct special inspections of drugs and medical consumables within public medical institutions within their jurisdiction from April 28 to 30, 2024.

The inspection work invited experts from both pharmaceutical and consumable product management to form three expert groups to conduct specific inspection work. The procurement and rational use of drugs were inspected one by one by one by on-site inspection, systematic verification and personnel interviews. In response to the existing problems, the expert group proposed rectification suggestions on the spot.

Through this special inspection operation, we have effectively grasped the procurement of drugs and medical consumables in public medical institutions within the jurisdiction, comprehensively examined and identified problems and corrected them as required. We have further optimized and improved the working methods, established and improved the long-term mechanism, promoted the professionalization, standardization and normalization of the supervision of pharmaceutical procurement, further regulated the procurement administration and rational use of drugs in public medical institutions, and ensured the implementation of special inspection.
