With the continuous development of medical technology and the increasing level of drug research and development, the incidence of invasive fungal diseases has been rising year by year. In response to this challenge, the "New Approaches to Standardized Diagnosis and Treatment of IFD: Multidisciplinary Exchange Meeting (Session 8)" was successfully held online on August 19, 2024, organized by the Chengdu High-tech Medical Association.
This meeting focused on issues such as clinical medication choices and was guided by clinical hot topics, aiming to help resolve concerns related to medical treatment in the region. Experts from various fields including infection, intensive care, and respiratory medicine were invited to give lectures. The content covered a wide range of topics, closely related to clinical practice, and was highly advanced, practical, and applicable. The experts shared the latest research findings and clinical experiences, delving into new approaches for diagnosing and treating invasive fungal diseases. Attending primary care physicians expressed that, through this meeting, they not only expanded their horizons but also gained many practical clinical insights, benefiting greatly.
