With the continuous development of medical technology and the ongoing improvement in drug research and development, the incidence of invasive fungal diseases has been rising year by year. To address this challenge, the Chengdu High-tech Medical Association successfully held the "IFD Standardized Diagnosis and Treatment New Approaches Multidisciplinary Exchange Meeting" on July 16, 2024.

This meeting focused on issues such as clinical medication choices, guided by clinical hotspots, aiming to alleviate concerns regarding medical treatment in the region. Experts from the fields of infection, critical care, respiratory medicine, and others, both from within the province and beyond, were invited to give lectures. The content was broad, closely aligned with clinical practice, and characterized by high advancement, practicality, and operability. The experts shared the latest research findings and clinical experiences, delving into new approaches for the diagnosis and treatment of invasive fungal diseases. Attending grassroots physicians stated that through this meeting, they not only broadened their horizons but also learned many practical clinical insights, benefiting greatly.

The successful holding of this meeting not only promoted communication and cooperation across disciplines but also provided strong support for improving the medical level in the region and enhancing patient diagnosis and treatment outcomes. We look forward to more similar academic exchange events in the future, contributing to the development of the healthcare industry. We hope that the outcomes of this meeting will offer more insights and assistance to clinical practice. Thanks to all the experts and physicians who participated in and supported this meeting!
