In order to strengthen the level of standardized diagnosis and treatment of cancer, improve the quality of life of cancer patients, and ensure medical quality and safety, the "Chengdu High tech Zone Cancer Pain Standardized Diagnosis and Treatment Demonstration Unit Second Round Awarding Ceremony and Third Batch Creation Launch Meeting, and Grassroots Medical Institution Cancer Pain Standardized Diagnosis and Treatment Training Course" was successfully held on April 25, 2025 at the Xiyuan Community Health Service Center in Chengdu High tech Zone, hosted by the Chengdu High tech Zone Medical Quality Control Management Service Center and undertaken by the Chengdu High tech Zone Tumor Quality Control Sub center and Chengdu Xiyuan Community Health Service Center.

At the beginning of the event, Director Duan Ping from Chengdu High tech Zone Cancer Quality Control Center served as the host and introduced the background and significance of the event to the attendees. Ai He, Deputy Director of the Medical Quality Control Management Service Center of Chengdu High tech Zone, and Hu Yu, Minister of the Medical Quality Management Department of Chengdu Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Subsequently, the awarding ceremony officially began. Ai He, Deputy Director of the Medical Quality Control Management Service Center of Chengdu High tech Zone, Hu Yu, Director of the Medical Quality Management Department of Chengdu Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital, Peng Xiaodong, Deputy Director of Chengdu Cancer Disease Control Center, and Zhang Ying, Director of Chengdu Shangjin Nanfu Hospital, awarded the Cancer Pain Demonstration Base to the first batch of applicants: Chengdu High tech Zone Good Doctor First Hospital, and the second batch of applicants: Chengdu High tech Zone Guixi Community Health Service Center, Chengdu High tech Zone Fangcao Community Health Service Center, and Sichuan Modern Hospital (High tech Campus), marking significant achievements of the four units in the standardized diagnosis and treatment of cancer pain.

The two units that applied for the third batch of standardized diagnosis and treatment demonstration bases for cancer pain in Chengdu High tech Zone, namely Xiyuan Community Health Service Center and Xiaojiahe Community Health Service Center, witnessed the launch ceremony of the third batch of standardized diagnosis and treatment demonstration units for cancer pain in Chengdu High tech Zone together with more than 30 leaders and relevant functional department heads from various medical institutions in the district.

After the launch ceremony, the specialized training session on standardized diagnosis and treatment of cancer pain in grassroots medical institutions immediately kicked off. Professor Peng Xiaodong from Chengdu Cancer Disease Quality Control Center delivered a speech at the training class and provided in-depth interpretation and detailed guidance on standardized diagnosis and treatment of cancer pain.
