On April 25, 2025, Chengdu Hi-Tech Medical Association successfully held the "Maternal and Child Health Training Seminar: Quality and Safety in Labor Ward" in Xichang. Experts from West China Second University Hospital, Sichuan University, People's Hospital of Sichuan Province, Jinjiang Maternal and Child Health Hospital of Chengdu, and Caitou Xichang Hospital gathered to share insights.

The seminar focused on enhancing the quality and safety management of labor wards through practical simulation, scenario exercises, and standardized operational procedures. Key topics included quality control in labor ward nursing, new labor management, and neonatal resuscitation. It aimed to strengthen the quality and safety management of delivery rooms, ensure maternal and infant safety, and enhance the standardization and homogenization of delivery room control.

Participants noted that the seminar was highly significant for consolidating grassroots obstetric capabilities, safeguarding maternal and infant health, and promoting standardized medical development. They are committed to elevating regional obstetric service quality through practical improvements.
