With the widespread use of antibiotics, bacteria have developed increasing resistance to these drugs, leading to the widespread emergence of multidrug-resistant bacterial infections, which has become a significant issue in hospital settings.

These infections not only affect treatment outcomes but can also worsen patients 'conditions, lead to death, and facilitate the spread of the infection.

Therefore, enhancing the prevention and control of multidrug-resistant bacterial infections and improving the diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities of clinical departments are crucial for ensuring medical quality and safety.

To promote the diagnosis and treatment of multidrug-resistant infections and further enhance academic exchanges, the' Multidrug-Resistant Infection Diagnosis and Treatment Expert Exchange Conference,' organized by the Chengdu High-tech Medical Association, was successfully held on May 7, 2025.

To enhance clinical practice, the conference included a discussion session.

The attending experts, using typical cases, engaged in a lively discussion on the challenges of diagnosing and treating drug-resistant bacterial infections, the multidisciplinary collaboration model, and the optimization of prevention and control measures.

The attending doctors expressed that through the experts' interpretations and case analyses, they gained a clearer understanding of the standardized diagnosis and treatment of drug-resistant bacterial infections.

This conference provided valuable learning opportunities for clinical medical personnel and injected new momentum into the prevention and control of multidrug-resistant bacterial infections.

The attending experts unanimously agreed that only through coordinated efforts across the entire 'prevention-diagnosis-treatment' chain can we effectively address the challenge of drug resistance and safeguard public health.
