To enhance the clinical diagnosis and treatment capabilities of primary care physicians for anorectal diseases, improve treatment rates, and strengthen comprehensive management of such conditions for better patient care, the "Southwest Internal Hemorrhoids Medical Case Competition," organized by the Chengdu Hi-Tech Medical Association, was successfully held online on May 20, 2025.

       This event brought together renowned experts from within and outside the region, aiming to promote standardized diagnosis and treatment of anorectal diseases and foster academic exchange. By encouraging clinicians to analyze typical and complex cases through case sharing and multi-dimensional evaluations, the competition facilitated the summarization of clinical experience and the adoption of new technologies and innovative approaches. Additionally, it strengthened collaboration among medical institutions at all levels in the Southwest region, optimized clinical workflows, and ultimately provided patients with more precise and efficient medical services, contributing to the implementation of the Healthy China strategy in grassroots healthcare.
