In recent years, the field of respiratory and critical care medicine in our province has flourished, with significant advancements in the management of anti-infective therapies for severe respiratory conditions. To further foster the integration of basic research and clinical medicine in the domain of anti-infective treatment for severe respiratory diseases, enhance awareness and attention among researchers and healthcare professionals regarding the latest developments in this field, and provide a cross-disciplinary communication platform to strengthen multidisciplinary collaboration, the Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association successfully hosted the "Free Breathing in Southern Sichuan MDT Seminar" online on December 9, 2024.

       This seminar adopted a multidisciplinary collaboration model, bringing together experts in anti-infective therapies for severe respiratory diseases and related fields to engage in in-depth discussions on the comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of complex respiratory conditions. Focusing on clinical challenges, the event facilitated the expansion of diagnostic and therapeutic approaches and the optimization of personalized treatment plans through multidisciplinary analysis of representative cases. The establishment of this platform not only strengthens academic exchange and cooperation among regional medical institutions but also promotes the standardization of respiratory disease management and the implementation of multidisciplinary joint diagnosis and treatment models. Consequently, it elevates the overall diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities for respiratory diseases in southern Sichuan, offering patients more precise and efficient medical services.
