With the rapid advancement of colorectal surgery techniques and imaging methods, early diagnosis and precise treatment of liver cancer have seen revolutionary breakthroughs.

To promote multidisciplinary collaboration and enhance the level of liver cancer diagnosis and treatment, the Chengdu High-tech Medical Association hosted the 'Colorectal Surgery and Imaging to Discuss Early Diagnosis and Treatment of Liver Cancer' academic conference in Gansu on May 6, 2025.

The conference aimed to create a platform for in-depth communication between colorectal surgery and medical imaging departments, share cutting-edge technological achievements, and support clinical practice innovation.

Liver cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in China, and early diagnosis and personalized treatment are crucial for improving patient outcomes.

In recent years, the integration of minimally invasive surgical techniques from colorectal surgery with advanced imaging technologies such as high-resolution CT, MRI, ultrasound contrast, and AI-assisted diagnostics has significantly improved the detection rate and precision of liver cancer treatments.

However, the technical coordination and clinical decision-making in interdisciplinary collaboration still require further exploration.

This conference invites renowned experts from the fields of colorectal surgery, medical imaging, and oncology to engage in exchanges through activities such as guideline interpretation, case discussions, and multidisciplinary team (MDT) simulations.

It not only showcases the latest academic advancements but also serves as a crucial practice for promoting regional medical resource sharing and implementing the 'Healthy China' strategy.
