From April 28th to 30th, 2025, the "Appropriate Technology Training Course for Outpatient Construction with Learning Difficulties", sponsored by Chengdu High-tech Medical Association, undertaken by Chengdu Qingyang District Maternal and Child Health Hospital, co-organized by Sichuan Zhonghui Xurui Education, and jointly organized by Beijing Normal University, Beijing Normal University Science and Technology Group Furen Mental School, and China Mental Health Association, was successfully concluded in Chengdu High-tech Medical Association. This training brought together a team of industry experts to provide a total of 78 students with professional and technical personnel in pediatrics, child care and psychology across the country with professional and technical training on theoretical knowledge and practical skills of learning difficulties through systematic and professional curriculum settings.

The purpose of this training course is to cultivate front-line special intervention professionals for learning difficulties in primary medical outpatient clinics, to provide technical strength for the construction of learning difficulties outpatient clinics in hospitals and medical institutions in view of the problems of school-age children "unable to learn" and "unwilling to learn", to improve the professional service capabilities of primary medical institutions and education systems in the field of children's learning difficulties, and to promote the development of regional children's mental health. According to the "China Basic Education Development Report" disclosed for the first time, there are about 200 million school-age children and adolescents in China, of which the incidence of learning difficulties is as high as 14.7%, which is equivalent to nearly 30 million children and adolescents suffering from this problem. Learning difficulties in the category of "poor grades", which far exceed public perception, but less than 30% of them receive professional intervention!

These students with learning difficulties not only experience setbacks in their studies, but may also face various challenges in terms of emotional, social, and career choices, which in turn will have a profound impact on their family and personal development. This training adopts the form of "expert teaching + case analysis + group exercise", and the theoretical courses are taught online by professors of Beijing Normal University, with a total of 70 class hours, rich and comprehensive content; The practical course focuses on the 12 outpatient practical techniques of the learning hardship counseling card, and helps students master core skills and improve their professional ability through 3 days of intensive training.

April 28th

The leaders of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association delivered a speech, followed by Director Cheng Min sharing the operation strategy of grassroots outpatient clinics, Director Ding Changcong explaining the classification and differential diagnosis of learning difficulties, Teacher Zou Xiyuan discussing the application of sensory integration in outpatient clinics, and Deputy Chief Physician Wu Na sharing the application of Wechsler Intelligence Test in outpatient clinics. Teacher Ren Yuefei gave an explanation of Outpatient Counseling Technique 1 (OH Card) and Counseling Technique 2 (Timeline) for learning difficulties, and organized group exercises.

April 29th

Teacher You You and Teacher Ren Yuefei respectively explained counseling techniques such as emotional regulation, short-focus technique, intentional dialogue and interpersonal adjustment, and organized group exercises.

April 30th

Teacher Ziwei shared the skills of family adjustment and internal drive cultivation, and Teacher Ren Yuefei introduced the operation of the 12 counseling structures of the outpatient clinic for learning difficulties, and organized a group discussion and summary. After three days of intense and fulfilling study, the trainees said that the course content was closely related to clinical needs, and had important guiding significance for the standardized construction of grassroots outpatient clinics and the diagnosis and intervention of learning difficulties.

In the next two months, students will also systematically study a 70-hour cognitive neuroscience course carefully created by a team of professors and experts from Beijing Normal University to help students deeply understand children with learning difficulties
