On March 21, 2025, the Colorectal Cancer Specialized Committee of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association, in collaboration with the Chengdu Quality Control Center and the Qingyang District Quality Control Center, successfully held the "Gastrointestinal Medical Staff Discuss the Management of Colorectal Tumor Specialized Diseases and the Construction of Specialized Disease Big Data Theme Activity" in the General Surgery ward of Chengfei Hospital. Professor Wang Xiaodong, the chairperson of the Colorectal Cancer Specialized Committee and from the Department of Gastrointestinal Surgery at West China Hospital of Sichuan University, provided a detailed analysis of "Digital Management and Hierarchical Diagnosis and Treatment Application of Multi-Center Colorectal Cancer in Sichuan Province", sharing how digital management can break geographical restrictions and achieve rational allocation of medical resources, enabling the participants to deeply understand the huge potential of digitalization in the diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer. Director Ruan Qi of Chengfei Hospital shared the experience of "Gastrointestinal Specialty Project Construction: Exploration of Chengfei Model for Painless Management of Hemorrhoids under the ERAS Concept and Optimization of Clinical Pathways" at the meeting. He elaborated on how Chengfei Hospital integrates the concept of Enhanced Recovery after Surgery (ERAS) into the painless management of hemorrhoids, forming a complete clinical pathway from preoperative psychological counseling and optimized intestinal preparation to precise operation during the operation, multi-modal analgesia and rapid rehabilitation guidance after the operation.
