To further promote the development of stomatology and enhance the technical level of pediatric dental treatment, as well as standardize the clinical application of sedation and analgesia techniques, after research, the First Re-election Conference of the Stomatology Professional Committee of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association and the Learning Class on New Progress in Pediatric Dental Treatment, jointly organized by Chengdu High-tech Medical Association, Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital and Chengdu First People's Hospital, and hosted by the Stomatology Professional Committee of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association, with the assistance of the Chengdu High-tech Zone Dental Quality Control Sub-center, was grandly held in Chengdu on June 7th.

Nearly 100 experts from Chengdu, Leshan, Deyang, Suining, Luzhou and other regions gathered in Chengdu to witness the first term change election of the Oral Committee of the Chengdu High-tech Medical Association. Before the official election, Professor Lyu Jin, the first term chairperson, delivered a "Work Report of the First Term Committee" to all the committee members. The second term oral committee election officially began. Through deliberation, the second term chairperson, vice chairperson, deputy chairperson and standing committee leadership of the committee were democratically elected. Professor Zhang Jianshe from Chengdu Shengbei Dental Hospital was appointed as the honorary chairperson of the committee, Professor Bai Lanjun from Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital was elected as the chairperson of the committee, and Professor Yang Heng from Chengdu First People's Hospital was elected as the vice chairperson of the second term committee. Professor He Libang from West China Hospital of Stomatology of Sichuan University, Professor Zhang Hongmei from Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital, Professor Fang Hongzhi from Chengdu Third People's Hospital, Professor Song Hongjie from Chengdu Second People's Hospital, Professor Ma Zheng from the Affiliated Stomatology Hospital of Southwest Medical University, Professor Jiang Mei from Chengdu Stomatological Hospital, and Professor Yang Sen from Suining Central Hospital were elected as the deputy chairpersons of the committee.

At the meeting, the request for the establishment of the second functional Party group of the Oral Special Committee was read out. Among the 43 Party members of the special Committee, after recommendation and discussion by the preparatory group, all the committee members agreed that Jiang Mei, Song Hongjie and Yang Heng would form the functional Party group of the special Committee. Jiang Mei would serve as the group leader of the working group, and Song Hongjie would be responsible for discipline inspection and organizational work. Comrade Yang Heng is in charge of publicity work. Comrade Jiang Mei led all the committee members in a Party lesson study on the "Eight-point Regulation of the Central Committee".

Subsequently, the "New Advances in Pediatric Oral Treatment Learning Class" kicked off with speeches by Professor Guo Xijiu from West China Hospital of Stomatology, Sichuan University, and Ai He, Vice President and deputy secretary-general of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association. The two leaders extended their warm congratulations on the establishment of the second Stomatology Specialized Committee and expressed their hope that the committee would fully leverage the platform advantages of the Chengdu High-tech Medical Association and focus on enhancing the professional capabilities and academic standards of stomatology practitioners. Through academic exchanges and other activities, we will effectively promote the development of stomatology and play a greater role in safeguarding the oral health of the people and enhancing the overall health level of the population. Meanwhile, the leaders look forward to the experts participating in this "New Advances in Children's Oral Treatment Learning Class" having in-depth exchanges and thorough discussions to jointly promote the development of children's oral medicine. The conference invited experts in the field of stomatology to give wonderful lectures. The lecture content was rich and practical, covering multiple key areas of pediatric stomatology - from minimally invasive restoration and comfortable treatment of deciduous teeth, to anesthesia management in oral treatment for special children, and then to the timing of impacted teeth correction and functional correction of malocclusion. The sharing of the experts not only provided valuable clinical experience but also demonstrated the core concepts of "minimally invasive, comfortable, precise and personalized" in pediatric oral treatment, offering clinical solutions for reference to the participants.
