To enhance primary physicians' clinical expertise in inflammatory dermatology, improve diagnosis and treatment rates, strengthen comprehensive management capabilities, and better serve patients, the "Advances in Integrated Chinese-Western Medicine Diagnosis and Treatment of Inflammatory Dermatological Diseases" seminar was successfully held in Panzhihua City from June 21 to 22,2025. Organized by the Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association and co-hosted by Panzhihua Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, this event attracted over 200 dermatologists, general practitioners, and related field experts from medical institutions across the province. Participants engaged in discussions on cutting-edge advancements in integrated Chinese-Western medicine approaches for inflammatory dermatological conditions. The conference highlighted the advantages of integrated Chinese-Western medicine in managing inflammatory skin diseases, showcasing the combined application of traditional therapies like herbal internal administration, external treatments, and acupuncture with modern medical technologies. The dermatology team from Panzhihua Integrated Traditional Chinese-Western Medicine Hospital presented case studies including "Clinical Practice of Integrated Chinese-Western Medicine in Treating Chronic Eczema," emphasizing the unique value of traditional Chinese medicine in alleviating symptoms, reducing recurrence, and improving patients' quality of life. Attending physicians unanimously expressed that this training provided new approaches for primary care, enhancing comprehensive management capabilities for complex inflammatory skin conditions. The successful holding of this study class has set up a good platform for the promotion of diagnosis and treatment technology and academic exchange of inflammatory skin diseases in the province, further promoted the innovation and development of integrated Chinese and western medicine in the field of skin diseases, and contributed to the construction of healthy China.
