With the widespread adoption of imaging technologies, the use of contrast agents has been increasing year by year. How to scientifically and systematically prevent, identify, and manage adverse reactions has become a critical issue in ensuring patient safety and improving healthcare quality. To enhance the professional response capabilities of medical staff, establish standardized operating procedures, promote multidisciplinary collaboration, and drive continuous improvement in healthcare quality, the "Standardized Management of Contrast Agent Adverse Reactions" event, hosted by the Chengdu High-Tech Zone Medical Association, was successfully held on May 24, 2025, in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
The successful organization of this conference not only helps reduce arbitrary and experience-based errors in clinical practice but also enhances the efficiency of multidisciplinary emergency response, thereby lowering the risk of medical disputes. Furthermore, it contributes to strengthening institutional risk management systems, promoting standardized procedures for the entire contrast media administration process, and ultimately achieving dual improvements in healthcare quality and patient safety—embodying the modern medical service philosophy of "patient-centered care."
