With the rapid development of medical imaging technology, various advanced imaging devices are playing an increasingly crucial role in the diagnosis of breast diseases. To further enhance academic exchanges in the field of medical imaging and comprehensively improve the diagnostic level of breast diseases among imaging professionals, the Medical Imaging Breast Academic Exchange Conference, hosted by the Chengdu High-tech Medical Association, was successfully held in Chengdu on July 2, 2025. This conference attracted numerous experts, scholars, and related practitioners from the industry to gather together and jointly explore the cutting-edge technologies and clinical applications in the field of breast imaging.

During the conference, renowned breast imaging experts from both within and outside the province conducted in-depth discussions on the application of various imaging techniques such as mammography, ultrasound, and magnetic resonance imaging in the screening, diagnosis, and differential diagnosis of breast diseases. The experts, combining the latest clinical guidelines and a large number of typical cases, elaborated on the imaging principles of breast imaging, the BI-RADS classification standards, operational norms, and key points for image interpretation. They particularly proposed practical solutions to clinical challenges such as the differentiation of calcifications and the diagnosis of dense breasts, providing the participants with a rich academic feast.

In the interaction session, radiologists and representatives from clinical departments actively shared difficult cases encountered in their work and engaged in heated discussions on how to optimize the examination process, improve examination efficiency, and enhance multidisciplinary collaboration. They all agreed that such academic exchange activities not only broadened their academic horizons but also enhanced mutual understanding and collaboration between the radiology department and clinical departments, laying a solid foundation for further improving the comprehensive diagnosis and treatment level of breast diseases in the future. The relevant person in charge of the Chengdu High-tech Medical Association stated that the successful holding of this Medical Imaging Breast Academic Exchange Conference provided a high-level learning and exchange platform for medical imaging professionals in Chengdu and its surrounding areas.
