Gastrointestinal tumor is one of the most frequently occurring tumors in China. The incidence rate of colorectal cancer ranks second in China's incidence rate, and the incidence rate of gastric cancer ranks fourth in China's incidence rate. The overall incidence rate accounts for a high proportion of global digestive tumors. And the mortality rate remains high, accounting for half of the global digestive tumor mortality rate. With the emergence of more drugs, the treatment of digestive tract tumors has entered a new era, and more and more patients with digestive tract tumors are able to achieve longer survival. In order to promote standardized diagnosis and treatment of digestive tract tumors and strengthen academic exchanges on digestive tract tumors, the Chengdu High tech Medical Association successfully held the "New Progress Conference on Standardized Treatment of Digestive Tract Tumors" at Jinjiang Hotel in Chengdu on June 29, 2025.
