To enhance the clinical proficiency of primary care physicians in managing kidney diseases, improve diagnostic and treatment rates, strengthen comprehensive disease management capabilities, and ultimately provide better care for patients, the "Training Workshop on New Advances in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Kidney Diseases," organized by the Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association, was successfully held online on August 13, 2025.

This event brought together renowned experts from within and outside the region, aiming to actively address the urgent needs in the prevention and treatment of chronic kidney diseases in China. Focusing on cutting-edge theories and clinical practices in nephrology, the workshop systematically promoted new technologies, methods, and concepts in diagnosis and treatment. It provided a high-level learning and exchange platform for nephrologists, general practitioners, and related healthcare professionals. Through in-depth interpretation of domestic and international guidelines,  and demonstration of practical skills, the training comprehensively enhanced participants’ capabilities in early screening, precise diagnosis, personalized treatment, and long-term management of kidney diseases. The event will further promote the standardization and homogenization of kidney disease diagnosis and treatment services, strengthen multidisciplinary collaboration, and facilitate the translation of scientific research into clinical practice. Ultimately, it will provide solid talent support and professional assurance for improving the overall level of regional kidney disease prevention and treatment and enhancing patients’ quality of life.
