To actively promote the innovation and development of minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment technologies for digestive diseases in Sichuan Province, and to strengthen academic exchanges and professional talent cultivation, the 2025 New Advances in Minimally Invasive Diagnosis and Treatment of Digestive Diseases Training Workshop, organized by the Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association, was successfully held in Chengdu from August 29 to 30.
The conference attracted over 100 participants including experts, scholars, and clinical backbone members from gastroenterology departments, surgical departments, and endoscopy centers across medical institutions at all levels throughout the province.
The conference focused on the medical trends of "internal medicine-surgery integration, minimally invasive surgery, and precision minimally invasive techniques," with particular emphasis on new theories, technologies, and clinical challenges in the field of minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment of digestive tract diseases. It featured a series of keynote speeches, case discussions, and live endoscopic surgery demonstrations.
Experts in attendance engaged in in-depth discussions on the latest advancements, operational standards, and complication prevention of innovative technologies such as portal vein thrombosis management, cirrhosis treatment, and Helicobacter pylori infection therapy. They shared multiple clinically valuable technical achievements and practical experiences with significant promotion potential.
The training program featured keynote lectures by renowned experts from across the province and beyond, covering cutting-edge topics such as endoscopic management of critical gastrointestinal bleeding, diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic cystic lesions, clinical cure research progress for chronic hepatitis B, and diagnostic strategies for IBD extraintestinal manifestations.
The conference also included a case discussion session for junior physicians, providing a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange. The event fostered a vibrant academic atmosphere with active participation from attendees.
