Autoimmune diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus and Sjögren's syndrome are hallmark conditions in the field of rheumatology and immunology.  These disorders are characterized by complex etiology, prolonged disease courses, and treatment challenges, imposing significant burdens on patients, families, and society.  To address this challenge and advance the development of rheumatology and immunology in China, the Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association launched a series of academic conferences dedicated to autoimmune diseases.  The inaugural online session was successfully held on September 3, 2025, attracting numerous rheumatology and immunology experts and scholars nationwide to participate in this academic feast.     This conference aims to establish a high-level academic exchange platform. By sharing the latest research advancements, cutting-edge diagnostic and therapeutic techniques, and valuable clinical experiences in autoimmune diseases from both domestic and international perspectives, it seeks to collectively enhance experts' capabilities in disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment, ultimately benefiting patients worldwide. The event featured keynote presentations and panel discussions by renowned rheumatology and immunology experts. Experts engaged in insightful discussions on hot-button issues and challenging clinical management challenges, delivering clear explanations and fostering open exchanges. Participants shared numerous clinical case studies and the latest evidence-based medical findings, sparking intellectual debates through brainstorming sessions that identified critical decision-making points in clinical practice. With its rich content and strong academic atmosphere, the conference delivered a substantial academic feast for online attendees.      The successful hosting of this conference has not only provided rheumatology professionals nationwide with a convenient and efficient learning and exchange opportunity,  but also significantly promoted the dissemination and implementation of advanced diagnostic and therapeutic concepts and technologies. This holds great significance for standardizing clinical practices and enhancing overall medical service quality.  The academic symposium series will continue as a regular event. Subsequent sessions will focus on more specialized themes, track international frontiers, share the latest developments, and continuously contribute wisdom and strength to overcoming diagnostic and therapeutic challenges in rheumatic and immunological diseases. These efforts will further contribute to the advancement of China's healthcare development.
