Following the enthusiastic reception of its inaugural session, the second installment of the "Academic Conference Series on New Developments in Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) Diagnosis and Treatment" organized by Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association was successfully held on August 28th, 2025. Building upon the first session's theme of "Strengthening Foundations and Disseminating Concepts", this meeting delved deeper into clinical practice details while focusing on long-term patient benefits. It conducted in-depth discussions on advanced topics such as CKD complication prevention and control, personalized treatment strategies, and other critical issues, continuously injecting new momentum into advancing comprehensive CKD management.    The academic conference maintained its signature high standards and quality, attracting active participation from clinicians across medical institutions at all levels.  Focusing on key challenges in chronic kidney disease (CKD) management, the event featured cutting-edge topics including integrated cardiovascular-nephrological complications management, optimized diagnostic strategies for diabetic nephropathy, standardized treatment protocols for CKD-related anemia and microangiopathy (MBD), as well as long-term patient follow-up and adherence improvement.  Experts not only presented the latest evidence-based medical findings but also engaged in interactive discussions with attending physicians, sharing real-world case studies to address clinical decision-making dilemmas. The conference fostered a vibrant academic atmosphere through these dynamic exchanges.    The successful hosting of the second conference marks the continuous deepening and maturation of our CKD academic platform.  We are delighted to observe that an academic community dedicated to standardized CKD diagnosis and treatment is taking shape.  The Society will continue to serve as a bridge and link, delivering high-quality academic resources precisely to clinical frontlines.  The "New Developments in CKD Diagnosis and Treatment Academic Conference Series" has become a highly influential brand event in the regional nephrology field.  It is reported that follow-up topics are being actively prepared, continuously contributing to enhancing regional CKD diagnostic capabilities and improving patients' long-term prognosis.
