In response to the "Healthy China" strategy and to continuously promote the deep integration of basic research and clinical medicine in the field of metabolism and diseases, enhancing researchers 'and healthcare professionals' awareness and attention to the latest developments in this field, a high-level interdisciplinary academic exchange platform—— "Medical Association Innovation Exchange Academic Conference Series and Interdisciplinary Joint Diagnosis and Treatment Symposium on Metabolic Syndrome and Diabetes (First Session)" was successfully held online on September 22th,2025.

Metabolic syndrome and its core disease, diabetes mellitus, represent a major global public health challenge. With complex pathogenesis involving multiple factors such as genetics, environment, and lifestyle, effective prevention, diagnosis, and treatment urgently require seamless integration of basic research and clinical practice.

This symposium series aims to break down disciplinary barriers and build a bridge connecting laboratory discoveries with clinical applications.

The first session will focus on the latest breakthroughs, innovative diagnostic and therapeutic technologies, and future trends in metabolic diseases. It will invite top-tier basic scientists, endocrinology experts, cardiovascular disease specialists, and nutritionists from around the world to share cutting-edge academic insights and clinical expertise.

This symposium series serves not only as a knowledge-sharing platform but also as a catalyst for collaboration.

We firmly believe that by establishing this open and collaborative exchange space, we can significantly enhance interdisciplinary teamwork capabilities, stimulate innovative research approaches, ultimately advance the comprehensive improvement of metabolic disease diagnosis and treatment standards, and deliver more effective prevention and therapeutic solutions to patients.
