The incidence of digestive tract tumors has been continuously rising and has become a major disease seriously threatening public health. Against this backdrop, promoting the standardization and precision of pathological-clinical diagnosis has become a key link in enhancing the level of prevention and treatment. On October 25th, the municipal continuing medical education activity - "Training Course on Pathology and Clinical Diagnosis Standards and Progress of Digestive Tract Tumors" was successfully held in Chengdu. It was jointly organized by the Chengdu High-tech Medical Association and Chengdu First People's Hospital, hosted by the Western Precision Medicine and Molecular Pathology Committee of the Chengdu High-tech Medical Association, and co-organized by the Pathology Quality Control Sub-Center of Chengdu High-tech Zone.
Professor Zhao Yuanyu from Chengdu First People's Hospital served as the host of the opening ceremony of the conference. Professor Zhao Cong, the president of Chengdu High-tech Medical Association, and Professor Zhang Ruilin, a member of the Party Committee and vice president of Chengdu First People's Hospital, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches at the conference.
