On the morning of October 20th, Wang Haitao, the president of the American International Medical Management Institute, and his delegation visited the Chengdu High-tech Medical Association for a discussion and exchange. This meeting focused on in-depth discussions on issues such as international exchanges, talent cultivation, and scientific research cooperation between the American International Medical Management Institute and industry associations. At the beginning of the visit, the team led by President Wang first visited the platform for collaborative innovation in medical engineering integration of the society. They comprehensively learned about the key projects and development models of the society in areas such as industrial collaboration, technology transfer, and external cooperation. President Wang highly praised the society's Minshan Torch Program and fully affirmed the achievements the society has made in promoting medical engineering integration and collaborative innovation. He expressed that the college and the society have broad potential for future cooperation.
Subsequently, the two sides held a discussion and exchange on topics such as "international exchanges, education and training, and industrial transformation". President Wang introduced the background of the establishment of this college in Boston, USA in 2023. The aim was to create a platform for connecting China's medical and pharmaceutical industry with international resources, providing medical professionals with a window to understand global cutting-edge technologies and academic trends, and promoting international medical exchanges and cooperation.

Both sides plan to carry out cooperation in areas such as international study tours and academic conferences. By jointly designing study tours and sharing academic resources, they aim to provide more learning and exchange opportunities for medical talents. At the same time, the secretary-general of the High-tech Medical Association, Zeng Bin, stated that the association intends to hold the "Chengdu High-tech Health and Medical Industry Collaborative Innovation Development Conference" in Chengdu and explore the "dual-association system" to promote the normalization and deepening of academic exchanges between China and the United States. In response to the actual needs of scientific researchers in the medical field during their innovation processes, both sides expect to provide support for the transformation and application of medical scientific achievements by building communication platforms and promoting resource sharing, and promoting medical innovation achievements to serve society. In addition, both sides have also conducted in-depth discussions on promoting international exchanges of traditional Chinese medicine and establishing sustainable cooperation mechanisms. Both sides proposed to jointly build an industry empowerment platform by integrating international academic resources to provide professional academic guidance and resource support for medical innovation projects.
