In response to the pressing challenges posed by the current prevention and control of chronic diseases, and to further explore the complexity and systematic management of the "three highs"—hyperlipidemia, hyperglycemia, and hypertension—as comorbidities, the Chengdu High-Tech Medical Association organized this conference. The event aimed to establish a high-level platform for academic exchange, bringing together experts, scholars, and frontline clinical professionals from various disciplines. Together, they focused on the epidemiological characteristics, interactive pathogenesis, precision prevention strategies, and innovative models for comprehensive management of the "three highs" comorbidities across diverse populations and the entire life cycle.
The core significance of this conference lies in breaking through the limitations of traditional single-disease management approaches and promoting a shift in medical philosophy from a "disease-centered" to a "health-centered" model. By sharing the latest research findings, cutting-edge diagnostic and treatment technologies, and successful management experiences, the conference fostered multidisciplinary collaboration. This, in turn, enhances healthcare professionals' holistic understanding and comprehensive management capabilities for comorbidities. Such efforts not only provide practical guidance for optimizing individualized treatment plans, improving long-term patient outcomes, and elevating public health standards, but also represent a critical step in aligning with the "Healthy China" strategy. This initiative drives innovation and development in the chronic disease prevention and control system, actively addressing the challenges posed by an aging population. It is poised to inject new vitality and wisdom into the creation of a more efficient and collaborative health service system.
